Senior AttorneyHeather McConnell is a complex business litigator with over 25 years of experience litigating cases in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Areas of practice include real estate, financial services, intellectual property, employment discrimination, professional malpractice, personal injury, premises liability, wrongful death, general negligence, and other disputes.
Heather is an approachable and seasoned litigator, with a practical, business-minded view, focused on developing legal strategies to efficiently achieve business goals while minimizing risks to clients. She is comfortable meeting demanding deadlines and managing multi-dimensional litigations in fast-paced environments with changing priorities. She understands the importance of early evaluation of cases to ensure that they are being properly and efficiently prepared for resolution or trial.
Heather has spent years working on pro bono matters, seeking asylum on behalf of victims of drug cartel violence in Mexico and filing appeals of denied asylum applications. She has also served as an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School, teaching a course in Civil Discovery.
