EVE H. KORFF

Over the past thirty-five years, Eve Korff has completed over 26 successful jury and bench trials through verdicts and over 200 binding uninsured/underinsured motorist arbitrations. Eve has had numerous trial successes including defense verdicts on admitted rear-end liability claims, and a 50/50 liability finding on a wrongful death claim based on a seatbelt defense.

She is the attorney who is called upon by multiple carriers when a file is “going wrong,” or the claim has special issues involving the parties, counsel or claimed injuries and treatment. She has a talent to take claims that are escalating, whether emotionally or in untethered damages, and immediately review, rework, and evaluate them in a manner that often leads to a fair and equitable settlement.

Eve has handled hundreds of complex and serious injury claims with voluminous records and issues. She has devised ways of evaluating and organizing these claims in a way that allows adjusters, mediators, and jurors to understand complex medical issues and render reasonable and appropriate settlements or awards.

Eve has also taught, locally and nationally, topics such as evaluating complex injury claims, medical fraud, and effective and proper handling of uninsured and underinsured motorist claims. She taught to such divergent groups as the insurance carriers, the Virginia Fraud Bureau (FBI), the Major League Baseball Winter Conference, the IASIU National Conference, and the Annual National Summit on Sports Concussion. She has also published on these topics.

She is admitted to practice before the California State Bar, United States District Court, and the Washington, D.C. Bar.
