Senior AttorneyFor more than fourteen years, Chiayu Chang has litigated both general and complex civil litigation cases including bodily and property injury defense, major catastrophic injury defense, medical malpractice and professional liability defense, premises liability, bad faith insurance and employment defense.
Chiayu has extensive litigation experience in handling all aspects of a case from initial case evaluation to discovery, and through mediation and, if necessary, to trial. She understands the importance of early case evaluation in ensuring proper and efficient preparation of a case for either settlement or trial.
Chiayu has spent the majority of her career in the insurance defense field. She has represented a wide variety of clients, including but not limited to individual defendants, corporations, educational institutions, professionals and nonprofit organizations. Her current practice focuses on complex, catastrophic personal injury matters involving automobile accidents and premises liability.
Chiayu has experience in litigating matters in state and federal courts in California, including in the United States District Court for the Central and Eastern Districts of California.
