STEVEN M. HINGST
Position:
Senior AttorneySteven “Steve” M. Hingst is a Senior Attorney in the Irvine office for litigation in the defense of insurance claims for personal injury, including catastrophic loss, wrongful death, and questionable causation, and has workers’ compensation experience.
Being a trial attorney since 1998, including five years as a consumer attorney, taught Mr. Hingst to find zealous ways to protect clients while minimizing costs, including professional cooperation to forestall discovery motions and knowing when alternative dispute resolution makes sense to avoid trial costs.
Mr. Hingst graduated from University of California, Berkeley, in 1990, where he played offensive line for the Cal Bears. After some life experience, he went back to school at Western State College of Law, graduating and passing “The Bar” in 1998.
Mr. Hingst was born in Garden Grove, grew up in Tustin, and calls the City of Orange home, where he enjoys his spare time, unless on a road-trip.
