Insurance defense litigation firm is seeking a highly motivated full-time personal injury litigation paralegal. The successful applicant must be able to draft and respond to discovery; summarize and analyze medical records, discovery responses, deposition transcripts, and demands; prepare case/claim analysis reports; and interact with clients in a deadline-oriented environment. Prior experience in motion work is not a requirement.
Responsibilities include:
- Draft pleadings, discovery, medical and discovery summaries, demands, and other legal documents.
- Draft discovery motions, oppositions, and replies.
- Coordinate, assemble, and prepare documents for production and proceedings.
- Investigating facts and laws of cases and searching public records and other resources to prepare case analysis reports and determine causes of action.
- Communicate with clients, when necessary.
- Work in a team-based structure.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of experience litigation (required).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal court rules and filing procedures.
- Works independently with minimal supervision and instruction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc. and Adobe).
- Has a team-player attitude and is reliable.
Required Education:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- ABA Paralegal Certificate

- The hourly range in California for this role is $30.00 – $35.00 and represents the firm’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
