Nalee Xiong is an Associate with Macdonald & Cody, LLP. She graduated summa cum laude, the valedictorian of her graduating class, with her Juris Doctorate from Western State College of Law.
Prior to law school, Nalee was a legal assistant for an Elder Law Firm primarily focusing on estate planning, financial planning, asset protection, and living trusts. During the summer of her first year of law school, she interned for a General Counsel where she gained insight in intellectual property, specifically patent infringement, reviewing and editing contracts as well as privacy rights. For the remainder of law school, she worked as a law clerk in litigation firms, gaining litigation experience in employment law, and estate and conservation law.
Throughout law school, Nalee took on various leadership roles, including president of Business Law Association and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International. Additionally, she served as the Articles’ Editor of the Western State Law Review, a member of the Deans’ Circle, and Distinguished Honor Roll.
During her free time, Nalee enjoys running, practicing yoga, playing tennis, and hanging out with friends and family.
