DENETTA E.J. SCOTT
For over 15 years, Denetta has litigated a variety of cases including personal injury, premises liability, business litigation, commercial litigation, and real estate litigation.
Throughout her career, Denetta has successfully litigated cases to a successful conclusion. She is known for her success in law and motion work. Denetta also strives to work with her clients and opposing counsel to resolve cases in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
In law school, Denetta was part of the Trial Advocacy team. After law school, Denetta spent the first five years litigating automobile personal injury, premises liability, business litigation, construction defect and employment litigation cases. During that time, she second chaired a breach of contract jury trial that resulted in a defense verdict for the client and a substantial attorney fee award.
Denetta spent the next five years working in a real estate litigation firm, gaining litigation experience representing loan servicers and banks during the foreclosure crisis. For the past five years, she has worked in insurance defense firms, representing clients in personal injury cases, premises liability, business litigation, and commercial litigation cases.
Denetta is licensed to practice before all the state and federal courts in the State of California, including all the United States District Courts in California and the State Bar of the District of Columbia.
